THE waiting is nearly over, as Mazda is getting closer to unveiling its next generation MX-5 roadster. 2014 marks the 25th anniversary of the popular compact drop-top, and the Japanese car maker has announced plans to reveal the fourth generation model to an exclusive audience at two special events being held in Spain on 3rd and 4th September. The US is to get their own Scrappage Scheme - Cash for Clunkers
So even though our Scrappage Scheme is pretty flawed, it may well be having an impact – at least until the relatively modest amount set-aside for the scheme by the Government is exhausted. And now it’s the turn of the US to launch a Scrappage Schem – Cash for Clunkers. Cash for Clunkers legislation was passed yesterday in the US to try and kick-start US car sales, and give a boost to beleaguered car makers like GM and Chrysler.
‘Concept Cars by Bertone' is the theme of the 2014 Degler Calendar by automotive photographer Pitor Degler Jablonski, which showcases some of the most important and unique prototypes designed by the coachbuilder. Through his photography Jablonski celebrates car design icons such as Nuccio Bertone's own racecar, advanced concepts such as the Stratos Zero and Marcello Gandini's Lamborghinis as well as the recent designs of Mike Robinson, Bertone's current brand and design director.
